Objective 1
Development and implementation of a comprehensive translational breeding education program integrated with subfamily translational breeding efforts.

Develop a platform for dialogue and reciprocal communication between genomics researchers, the industry and public sectors on the benefits of translational breeding and promote awareness about the importance of breeding and the erosion of specialty crop breeding programs.

Develop an integrated Rosaceae-wide translational breeding infrastructure development: A) Germplasm and phenotyping; B) Software and statistical support; C) Webportal and databases and D) DNA reference bank

Objective 4
Develop individual subfamily translational breeding programs addressing critical breeding issues for A) Maloideae; B) Amygdaloideae; C) Rosoideae.
