Mission

  • Serve as a communication and coordination focal point for the US Rosaceae genomics, genetics and breeding community.
  • Define research priorities based on input from the industry and research community.
  • Facilitate scientific interaction and foster dynamic research teams.
  • Promote research priorities.
  • Coordinate educational efforts from the research community to the industry and the public.

Membership 2009

Five new members elected to the 2009 RosEXEC Committee

New U.S. members : Angela Baldo, Bryon Sosinski, Jim Hancock, Jim McFerson and Phil Stewart.

All incoming members will serve a three-year term from 2008 through 2010. The new members were elected by 36 US Rosaceae members who participated in the web-based voting process.

Thanks to departing members Tom Davis, Kevin Folta, Jay Norelli, Gary Van Sickle and Stan Hokanson for their excellent service. Go to the membership page for more details on the USRosEXEC Committee.

The USRosEXEC committeee are currently being reorganized and on their completion new forums will be created in GDR for them.
